History of OD's Goodies, LLC.

After retiring from 40 years in the financial world, Rich ODonnell decided to start a cannery located in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Rich has always had a passion for gardening and farming. As a young boy, Rich helped his Italian grandfather in the vegetable and flower gardens in Wayne, Pennsylvania.

In 2017, I shared different canned products with family and friends to obtain feedback. The responses were POSITIVE! So, I decided to contact the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture to obtain the requirements of an approved home canning operation. I applied, was approved and became CERTIFIED by the state and local government. All the products are prepared fresh on the farm in Chester County. Each product is created from old recipes which were used by family members.

The name "OD's Goodies", was created years ago, by a young man who called Rich, "Uncle OD", hence the name OD's Goodies was established. The label is the creation of an artist friend, who designed and included all of our animals, fruits trees and vegetable gardens.

In 1994, the farm "Tootlers Echo Farm" was created in East Fallowfield Township, Chester County, Pa. OD's Goodies goal is to produce delicious and wholesome homestyle canning for your table.
